As Nigeria’s technology sector expands, Ezekiel Nwaeke, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HelpMe AI Solutions Nigeria, is developing an artificial intelligence platform aimed at everyday needs. The company is preparing two products for launch in 2026: HelpMe AI, a combined lifestyle and business assistant, and HelpMe AI – Home Automation, a system designed for Nigerian homes and security needs.
HelpMe AI brings multiple digital services into one platform, available as a chatbot, mobile application and website. The service allows users to send money, buy or gift airtime, pay electricity and cable bills, order food from nearby restaurants with delivery tracking, and book dispatch riders. For business owners, the platform also offers tools to register businesses and automate customer communication, payments and logistics.
The second product, HelpMe AI – Home Automation, focuses on home security and control. It includes remote CCTV access, motion and intrusion detection, voice-controlled lighting, automated gate systems and alerts sent directly to users’ phones. The system is designed to allow homeowners monitor their properties from any location, including outside Nigeria.
The company is currently in advanced development and beta testing. Nwaeke said the team includes Nigerian engineers working towards a full rollout in 2026.
Explaining the idea behind the platform, Nwaeke said: “We are not building AI for the future we are building AI for Monday morning when NEPA takes light, when you need to send school fees urgently, or when you’re stuck in traffic and want to be sure your family is safe at home safe. That is the real life we are solving for.”
He said simplicity and trust guide the company’s approach. “Too many AI tools feel like science experiments. At HelpMe AI Solutions, we believe technology should disappear into the background and just work. It must be simple, safe, human-centered, and above all something your mother in the village can use without calling you for help,” he said.
On business adoption, Nwaeke said the platform is built with small and growing companies in mind. “Startups and SMEs are the heartbeat of Nigeria’s economy. When they register on HelpMe AI, they instantly get automated payments, customer chat support, dispatch integration, and data insights — things that used to cost millions to build. We’re leveling the playing field,” he said.
Addressing homeowners, he added: “With HelpMe AI Home Automation, you don’t need to be a tech wizard to secure your compound. One app lets you see who is at the gate, turn on lights when motion is detected at night, and get an alert if a door is opened while you’re away. Peace of mind should not be a luxury.”
As digital services become part of daily life in Nigeria, HelpMe AI Solutions is positioning its products as tools focused on practical use, business support and home security, with technology designed around local realities.
