Babatunde Emmanuel, a 100-level student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has emerged winner of the MTN Campus Invasion competition, clinching the grand prize of a brand-new car valued at N35 million.
The victory has sparked excitement across the campus, highlighting the growing impact of student-focused innovation and entertainment platforms. Folasade Ogunsola, the vice-chancellor at UNILAG, formally handed over a brand-new 2025 Alsvin Mikano car to the winner.
The official handover was conducted by the vice-chancellor of the university, who applauded MTN Nigeria for its sustained commitment to youth empowerment and educational development.
Babatunde, a 100-level student of Industrial Mathematics at UNILAG, who emerged winner of the competition, was delighted to emerge the overall winner, clinching a car valued at about N35 million, was presented with the car.
“I am deeply honoured and genuinely grateful to MTN Nigeria for this extraordinary gift.
“Receiving the keys with my parent here from the vice-chancellor marks a momentous occasion. This car is a pivotal asset for my future endeavours,” he said.

Ogunsola, in her speech at the presentation, underscored the importance of responsible corporate citizenship, noting that partnerships between the private sector and academic institutions play a critical role in supporting students’ growth.
“It is truly gratifying to witness a private sector entity not only providing essential services but also directly investing in the future of our students. This vehicle represents a significant start for the young recipient,” she said.
