Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has urged the newly elected national leadership of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) to remain committed, hardworking and inclusive in order to strengthen the party and advance its objectives nationwide.
Governor Yusuf made the call while addressing delegates at the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected NNPP national executives held in Abuja.

The message was conveyed in a statement signed on Saturday by his spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
The governor reaffirmed the party’s commitment to good governance, citizens’ welfare and the protection of democratic principles across Nigeria, stressing that unity, loyalty and dedication among party members at all levels were essential to achieving the collective aspirations of Nigerians.
The NNPP national convention produced a new National Working Committee, with Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso reaffirmed as the party’s National Leader. Other key officers elected include Agbo Major as National Chairman, Oginni Olaposi as National Secretary, and Ahmed Anambra as National Treasurer, alongside deputy national officers and zonal representatives drawn from across the six geopolitical zones.
In his remarks at the convention, Kwankwaso charged the re-elected national executives to redouble their efforts in repositioning the party for greater electoral success beyond previous achievements.
The convention attracted party leaders and delegates from all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, underscoring the significance of the gathering to the political direction and future of the NNPP.
