Dufil Prima Foods, manufacturers of Indomie Noodles, has reinforced its commitment to care, inclusion, and shared prosperity through a Christmas outreach to vulnerable members of society across Lagos.
Under its community initiative, the company visited several schools and care homes, donating thousands of food items to support children, the elderly, and persons living with disabilities during the festive season.
The outreach forms part of Dufil Prima Foods’ long-standing tradition of giving back and ensuring that no one is left hungry or forgotten during the season of love.
Speaking on the initiative, Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Ltd., said the outreach aligns with the company’s core values.
According to him, the season is about compassion and shared humanity, adding that the company is committed to ensuring that the most vulnerable in society are supported, valued, and empowered.
“Beyond nourishment, our goal is to restore dignity and hope,” Ashiwaju said.
Beneficiary institutions included Heart of Gold Hospices; Bethesda Home and School for the Blind; Holy Family Home for the Elderly; Modupe Cole Memorial Childcare and Treatment Home School; Heritage Home for the Abandoned and Orphaned Children; and Little Saints Orphanage. At each location, the company delivered food items and extended messages of hope, solidarity, and compassion.
At the Bethesda Home and School for the Blind, the outreach went beyond food donations. Students received cartons of Indomie alongside a cash donation, while Dufil Prima Foods pledged to include some of the school’s brightest students in its 2026 scholarship scheme. The commitment reflects the company’s belief in empowering talent and promoting inclusion, regardless of physical limitations.
Olatunji Johnson, Senior Special Educator at Bethesda Home and School for the Blind, described the visit as impactful. “This gesture goes beyond charity; it is a strong message of inclusion and hope. The scholarship promise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students,” he said.
The warmth of the initiative was also felt at the Holy Family Home for the Elderly, where residents welcomed the company’s visit. Elizabeth Ikeh, Supervisor at the Home, said the gesture brought comfort and reassurance to the elderly residents during the festive period.
Through the Christmas outreach, Dufil Prima Foods once again underscores its role as a purpose-driven organisation, delivering not just food, but meaningful social impact within the communities it serves.
