Their confirmation followed a voice vote after the Senate dissolved into the Committee of the Whole to consider the nominations.

The trio were screened two weeks ago by the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs.
President Tinubu had, two weeks ago, transmitted the names of the nominees to the upper chamber.
Those confirmed are Kayode Aare (Ogun State), Aminu Dalhatu (Jigawa State), and Ayodele Oke (Oyo State).
The President’s letter was read at plenary by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, who subsequently put the nominations to a voice vote, leading to their confirmation.
