INBRID Global has restated its focus on strengthening Nigeria’s business space with the 2025 Abeokuta Business Summit. The event, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, brought together founders, professionals, ecosystem leaders, volunteers and young innovators who share a common aim of building stable and future-ready enterprises.
The summit aligned with INBRID’s mandate to support business growth through research-led programmes and structured guidance. This year’s sessions addressed ongoing challenges facing MSMEs, including limited access to funding, rising operational costs and gaps in business systems. More than 15 businesses received tailored support through workshops, technical sessions and strategy-focused discussions that explored ways to improve operations and prepare for scale.
A key moment at the summit was the announcement of winners of the INBRID Grant Programme. The finalists had earlier taken part in training on business modelling, documentation and investor readiness. With the unveiling of the beneficiaries, INBRID noted that the programme is part of a wider plan to open pathways to early-stage finance for small enterprises across Ogun State and other regions.
Participants also engaged in sessions on brand positioning, cashflow management, digital tools, legal structure and workforce organisation. These topics were selected to reflect current realities in the MSME sector, where many businesses contribute to national output but continue to face structural barriers. INBRID stated that the goal was to give clarity and practical direction for long-term stability.
More than 2,000 entrepreneurs registered for the summit, with many attending physically and others joining the masterclass series. Participants said the sessions improved their knowledge and enabled new connections and partnerships.
INBRID added that its work goes beyond training and grants, noting its commitment to community development and continuous support for MSMEs. The Abeokuta Business Summit 2025 marked another step in its mission to create a stronger and more connected business ecosystem in Nigeria.
The Abeokuta Business Summit 2025 stands as a renewed testament to INBRID’s role in shaping a more empowered, innovative, and opportunity-rich future for Nigerian entrepreneurs.
