Liverpool are reportedly considering three coaches to replace under-fire manager Arne Slot amid the club’s alarming decline this season.
According to Fichajes, the Liverpool hierarchy is deeply dissatisfied with the team’s performances despite spending over £450 million on major signings.
Instead, Liverpool have lost six of their 12 Premier League games and suffered a humiliating 4-1 home defeat to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League.

Wednesday’s loss marked Liverpool’s ninth defeat in their last 12 matches across all competitions, their worst run since the 1953/54 season. Furious boos rang around Anfield, with large pockets of fans leaving well before full-time in a rare display of frustration.
After last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, the Reds have now lost three straight matches, conceding 10 goals in that stretch. They sit 12th in the Premier League table, an unthinkable position for the reigning champions.
The Liverpool board reportedly believes the team has lost tactical direction and connection with the manager. They feel Slot has failed to translate the club’s heavy investment into results, leaving the project without identity or conviction.
As a result, three candidates are being considered.
Jurgen Klopp, the former Liverpool manager and club icon, whose return would spark huge excitement among supporters.
Andoni Iraola, ex-Bournemouth manager, is admired for his modern, high-intensity style and ability to elevate limited squads.
Ange Postecoglou is a manager known for his bold attacking philosophy, despite inconsistent spells at Tottenham and Nottingham Forest.
“Liverpool is already considering three candidates with distinct profiles,” Fichajes reported. “Klopp’s potential return excites fans, Iraola offers structural clarity, and Postecoglou brings bravery and an offensive identity.”
