The Police operatives in Ebonyi State have rescued a kidnap victim, Obasi ThankGod, who was found locked inside a hotel toilet in Ezzangbo, Ohaukwu LGA.
The victim was held while his abductors demanded a ₦5 million ransom.
Three suspects, namely Uchenna Ogbozuru, Ebuka Ejiogu and Chizoba Idenyi Ogwa, were arrested during the operation.
In a separate incident, the Command also foiled an armed robbery attack along the Ehamufu Nkalagu Road on 12 November 2025. One suspect was killed and an AK-47 rifle with ten rounds of ammunition was recovered.
Adaku Uche-Anya, Commissioner of Police, assured the public of intensified efforts to combat crime and urged residents to continue providing credible information to support policing operations.
