The city of Jos glowed with pride as it hosted the Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 World Finals — a dazzling celebration of Africa’s culture, creativity and tourism excellence. Contestants from 23 nations lit up the stage in a powerful showcase of beauty, talent and purpose, reaffirming Africa’s growing influence as a global tourism destination.
Hosted in partnership with the Government of Plateau State under the visionary leadership of Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the event turned Jos into a continental melting pot. With its cool climate, breathtaking scenery and unmatched hospitality, the city once again proved why it is called Nigeria’s tourism heartbeat.
Crowning Africa’s Tourism Ambassadors
Mauritius’ Reyna Amboorallee was crowned Miss Tourism Africa International 2025, captivating judges with her poise and advocacy for sustainable tourism. Neolin Jacob from Botswana claimed 1st Runner-Up, while Margaret Abbah of Nigeria earned 2nd Runner-Up.
On the men’s stage, Ednilton Delgado Da Cruz Silva from Cape Verde rose to victory as Mister Tourism Africa International 2025, followed by Takunda Ryan Chitope of Zimbabwe as 1st Runner-Up and Evans Ezekiel of Nigeria as 2nd Runner-Up.
Jenna Andson Marie-Ange MEIYE DECASTEL from Gabon and Zamzam Godana of Kenya were named Miss Tourism Africa International Ambassadors, honored for their eloquence, leadership and dedication to promoting Africa’s tourism story across borders.
Tourism, Talent and Trade at the Core
The organization’s foundation rests on three essential pillars — Tourism, Talent and Trade — a vision aimed at advancing Africa’s development through culture and creativity. The event’s Founder and President, Ambassador Seth Santiago Roberts, described the movement as “a renaissance of Africa’s identity, where culture meets commerce and creativity becomes a bridge to economic growth.”
He added: “This platform was built to give Africa a voice — one that speaks through our youth, our culture and our innovation. Every contestant here represents a living story of Africa’s potential. Through tourism, we’re not just showcasing destinations; we’re showcasing who we are and who we can become.”
Amb. Roberts further called for unity among African leaders and the private sector:
“It’s time for a continental effort. If our governments and corporate partners join hands, Africa can rise as the world’s most preferred tourism destination. The beauty, the stories, the people — everything the world is seeking is already here.”
Jos: The Home of Peace and Tourism
For the people of Plateau State, the event was more than a pageant — it was a celebration of identity and resilience. Visitors were treated to the city’s captivating landscapes, rich heritage and genuine warmth. The world finals have already sparked renewed tourism interest, putting Jos firmly on the global tourism map.
Each contestant carried the pride of their homeland — from Botswana’s rhythms to Mauritius’ island grace, Cape Verde’s soulful spirit and Nigeria’s vibrant energy — creating a colorful festival of unity and diversity that left audiences inspired.
A Call to Africa
As the lights dimmed on this year’s world finals, the message was unmistakable: Africa’s time is now. Amb. Roberts’ words echoed the event’s purpose — “Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International is more than a competition; it’s a movement for a new Africa — confident, creative and connected.”
The Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 World Finals did more than crown winners; it reignited a continental dream — one where Africa’s beauty, culture and spirit lead the world’s imagination.
