Fedlocks Automation has held its second official training programme in Lagos as part of its ongoing efforts to build technical capacity and expand access to automation skills across Nigeria.
Founded in the United States, Fedlocks operates across four continents — North America, Asia, Europe, and Africa — with a focus on smart automation and security systems. The three-day Lagos training, held from November 3rd to 5th, followed the success of the company’s first session earlier this year.
Lagos, described as West Africa’s economic hub, continues to attract growing interest in automation technology. The latest training session drew technicians and partners seeking to improve their knowledge of smart home, security, and industrial automation systems.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Fedlocks Automation Nigeria, Mr John Aondoakaa Akerenyi, said the next phase of the training would take place in 2026 and extend to other cities, including Abuja, Warri, Port Harcourt, and Imo. He noted that the initiative aligns with the company’s goal of building a stronger network of skilled professionals across the country.
“Fedlocks is not just about automation; we are about people, progress, and partnerships,” Akerenyi said. “We are committed to supporting Nigeria’s growing interest in smart home and security technology through quality products and impactful training programmes.”
*He also stated that FEDLOCKS remains open to partnerships and distributorship opportunities with individuals, businesses and organizations that share its vision of expanding smart automation solutions across Africa.*
