Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, the sole distributor of JAC vehicles in Nigeria, has unveiled two new JAC models, in Lagos. The models signpost innovation and value to the Nigerian multi-billion naira automobile market.
Speaking about the additions- the JAC T9 and JS8 PRO – Oye Hassan-Odukale, Chairman of Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, said in a statement that the company has always been driven by one mission – “To connect our customers to vehicles with combined performance, reliability, style, while ensuring excellent after-sales support.
“We affirm our promise to deliver vehicles that Nigerians can trust, enjoy, and be proud to own”.
Also speaking at the event, Olumide Olaokun, Senior Brand Manager at Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, in the statement further emphasized that both vehicles were created with the Nigerian family in mind, which combines rugged reliability with modern luxury. “When you choose the JAC T9 or JS8 PRO, you’re choosing durability, safety, and comfort that meet global standards,” he said.
According to him, the JAC T9 represents the company’s third-generation pickup platform, backed by over 60 years of chassis design expertise. It features a turbocharged engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 3,500kg towing capacity, making it one of the most powerful and versatile pickups in its class. Safety features include a high-strength cage body, six airbags, and multi-layer anti-collision beams. Inside, the T9 offers a 10.4-inch touchscreen display screen, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging, delivering a blend of technology and comfort for drivers and passengers alike.
He also said that the JAC JS8 Pro is a premium seven-seater SUV that targets families and professionals seeking space and sophistication. It boasts a panoramic sunroof, dual 24.6-inch display screen, independent third-row air conditioning, and over 2,000 Liters of trunk space when seats are folded. Powered by an efficient yet strong engine, the JS8 Pro offers 7.9L/100km fuel consumption, providing a balance of power and economy.
The Managing Director/CEO of Elizade JAC Autoland, Demola Ade-Ojo, reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment to the Nigerian market, emphasizing innovation, affordability, and customer satisfaction as the brand’s driving values, according to the statement.
