The event was conveyed by Dr. Ayo, and Ese Williams, giving the opening speech who framed the conference as a turning point for Africa’s innovation economy. “Africa is not just catching up; Africa can lead,” she declared.

The Panelists emphasized that while AI tools are powerful, they must be used to create real value and should always enhance, not replace, human creativity and effort.
This incredible panel session was followed by Keynotes from Nils Kakoseos and Rama Zomaletho That Stretched the Mind of the attendees delving into Consciousness in the Age of AI and AI Labs: The Panacea to Africa’s Intelligence challenge stating that We need to start exploring AI as an instrument of human intent and the best place to start is with an AI Labs. And this has shined a spotlight on the Remostart AI Labs, which was launched with an The AI Labs Hackathon that featured over 81 applications, 10 teams and 5 finalists building real world applications that solves real world problems.
