Gtext champions future-proof wealth creation through real estate

Gtext Homes on Friday, October 10, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 50 units of luxury apartments at Jasper Gardenia Estate, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. The event, which was filled with fun and insights, brought together stakeholders, investors, and real estate experts to discuss building future wealth through smart property investment.

Speaking at the event, Sonnie Suki, consultant and board member of Gtext Construction, explained that the ceremony served two main purposes, the physical land allocation for subscribers and the official groundbreaking for the new apartment project.

He said, “We’re expected to have 3, 4, and 5-bedroom apartments that blend comfort, security, and luxury. It’s not just about building but about meeting the taste of people who desire quality living. The project will feature hybrid energy solutions like solar and inverter systems, and the infrastructure is designed to prevent flooding.”

Also speaking, Olabisi Umoru Dada, General Manager of Gtext Land, highlighted the company’s steady growth since its inception. “We started in 2015 with one estate, and today we have over 30 estates across Nigeria and offices in the USA and Dubai. Before we invest in land, we investigate properly to ensure compliance with government regulations. Integrity is key in real estate, and that’s what makes us stand out,” she said.

On why investors should look toward Ibeju-Lekki, Michael Njoku, Gtext’s Group Director of Sales, noted that the area holds strong potential for residential, commercial, and land banking purposes. “Jasper Smart City started in 2018 selling for about ₦4 million; today it’s worth ₦50 million. Jasper Gardenia launches at ₦37.5 million, with flexible three-month payment options,” he added.

A representative of the Lagos State Commissioner for Planning, Lanre Alogomeji, commended Gtext Homes for contributing to reducing the state’s housing deficit. “Government cannot do it alone; we need private firms like Gtext to bridge the gap,” he said.
