Bolaji Idowu, Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Centre, has hosted what is described as Lagos’ largest Singles Prayers and Connect Conference, attracting more than 8,000 participants to the church’s headquarters in Ologolo, Lekki.
The conference, which took place at the Harvesters International auditorium, was designed to provide a platform where young adults could pray, reflect, and connect with others on issues relating to faith, relationships, and marriage.
According to Pastor Bolaji, the event was part of the church’s broader vision of addressing the needs of singles and creating opportunities for life-changing encounters. Speaking at the close of the gathering, he said: “Part of our vision at Harvesters International is to change lives, and one key area is marital settlement for many young adults who are believing in God for a breakthrough in this area. Singles are not left behind in God’s agenda — He has a purpose, and tonight, destinies were realigned.”
The programme featured prayer sessions, worship, and messages centred on emotional healing, marriage, and relationships. Testimonies have already been shared by attendees who reported renewed hope, answered prayers, and clarity about their personal journeys.
One participant said, “I’m thrilled I didn’t miss this opportunity. I stumbled upon the programme and truly felt God’s presence, which was an incredible experience. I’m looking forward to returning and sharing my amazing testimonies. I’d like to extend my gratitude to the coordinators for their dedication. This community is exactly what I need right now.”
The conference also included opportunities for participants to connect, reflecting Harvesters’ aim of building a supportive environment for singles to grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
Organisers said the response confirmed the need for regular gatherings of this nature to support young adults navigating faith and relationships.
