Medics Partners has launched the Medics Partners Women’s Health Centre, a facility designed to provide comprehensive healthcare services for women. The centre, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, was opened as part of the organisation’s first anniversary.
The Women’s Health Centre brings together a range of services including gynaecology, reproductive health, obstetrics and prenatal care, breast health and cancer care, menopause and hormonal management, as well as uro-gynaecology and advanced diagnostics.
Speaking at the launch, Dr Busola Ayelowo, Chief Medical Director of Medics Partners, said the facility was built to meet the unique needs of women. “For Every Woman, At Every Stage – that’s our commitment,” she said. “Women deserve a centre of excellence built around their unique needs, where care is not fragmented but integrated, accessible, and delivered by some of the best doctors in the country.”
The centre will be headed by Dr Waliyat Jolayemi, a gynaecologist with years of experience in women’s health. She will oversee the delivery of services and ensure that patients receive care suited to their needs.
Medics Partners Chief Executive Officer, Akin Eso, said the centre is part of the organisation’s goal to expand the scope of healthcare in Nigeria. “Our goal is to position Nigeria as a destination for premium women’s healthcare. With this launch, we are reaffirming our mission to make Medics Partners the first point of call for women who want holistic, world-class, and dignified care,” he said.
The Victoria Island location was chosen for its accessibility and to provide a private environment. The centre is equipped with modern facilities and will operate under Medics Partners’ focus on clinical excellence.
The launch marks a milestone for Medics Partners as it continues efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in Nigeria.
