The Tapshin Community, Tafawa-Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State, has applauded Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for constructing an 11km road from Boi-Tapshin, which, according to the community, reduced the state of death, especially when a woman is in labour.
A resident of Tapshin community, Istifanus Barde, who spoke to newsmen during projects inspection by the Bauchi State in the 20 local government areas of the state, said it’s easier now to convey pregnant women to hospitals for medical care.

He said that their community was in a critical condition due to the bad road, but Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir came to put smiles on their faces by constructing the bridge and completing the roads that linked them with neighbouring communities and Plateau State.
Barde further said that because of the road construction, the Tapshin community became a town that makes their activities go smoothly.
According to Barde, “Many people that this bridge has claimed, we feel sad and even burst into crying, but glory be to God, that governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir came and saved us, which he did, we thank him immensely for that”

Also speaking to newsmen, Astra John expressed her appreciation to Governor Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir for constructing their road.
She said that the construction of the road boosted their business and some daily activities.
