The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing in the North Central zone has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Olumode Samuel Adeyemi as the new Controller General of the Federal Fire Service.
In a statement issued on Monday, Zubair Aliyu Rogun, APC Zonal Youth Leader for North Central, described Adeyemi’s elevation as a historic and well-deserved recognition of competence, professionalism, and inclusive governance under the Tinubu administration.
Rogun expressed gratitude to the President for entrusting such a sensitive national assignment to Adeyemi, a Kogi-born professional with years of experience in fire and safety management.

“This appointment is not just about one man’s achievements; it is a strong statement that this government is committed to meritocracy, fairness, and inclusivity across all regions of Nigeria,” Rogun said.
He noted that Adeyemi’s appointment had brought pride not only to Kogi State but also to the entire North Central region and Nigeria’s youth constituency.
The APC youth leader also appealed to the Federal Government to provide the Federal Fire Service with enhanced capacity-building opportunities and modern resources that would enable Adeyemi and his team to effectively deliver on their mandate of fire prevention, emergency response, and the protection of lives and property.

The statement further applauded Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, for what it described as “massive reforms” in the ministry, giving him an “A+++ score” for performance and passing a vote of confidence in his leadership.
“We are confident that under the leadership of Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, the Federal Fire Service will experience a positive transformation that will inspire trust, build resilience, and ensure the safety of our communities,” Rogun added.
