Crown Insurance Brokers Limited, an insurance company, has felicitated the former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bamanga Tukur who clocked 90 years of age Monday, September 15, 2025.
A statement by the Managing Director of the company, Okenze Felix Amadi said the management was proud to be associated with Tukur who had piloted the company’s Board as chairman from inception.
“The Board and Management of Crown Insurance Brokers Limited rejoice with Alhaji (Amb) Bamanga Muhammadu Tukur who clocked 90 years of age today, 15th September 2025.
“We are very proud to be associated with this enigmatic global personality who has piloted our company’s Board as chairman from inception in 1987. In nearly 40 years his supervisory diligence and extensive global network guaranteed corporate good health for the company.
“We are also proud that Alhaji (Amb.) B. M. Tukur has served Nigeria, Africa and the world at large in various top-hat capacities including being ; General Manager of NPA, Executive Governor of Gongola State (now Adamawa and Taraba), Minister of Industry, President African Business Roundtable, Chairman NEPAD, Member G34 that closed the door of military governance in Nigeria, Chairman People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s Ambassador Extraordinary, among others.”
Amadi further said that Tukur has remained a force behind many successful blue-chip organisations involving Nigerian entrepreneurs in the global space.
“Above all, he is the mentor-general of many of today’s younger Nigerians who are successful in politics, public service and corporate service.
“We therefore, join his immediate family, his extended, global and corporate families to give thanks to Almighty Allah who has blessed him with long life and good health. We wish him many more years of celebration of God’s goodness,” he said.
