Medplus, Nigeria’s pharmaceutical and wellness retailer, has announced a new initiative for GlowFest 2025, its annual celebration of beauty, wellness, and empowerment.
The event will take place on 20 September 2025 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, with the theme “More Than Skin Deep”. The theme reflects the company’s focus on wellness, empowerment, and sustainable growth.
As part of this year’s programme, Medplus is introducing The Medplus Business Opportunity, designed to support a beauty or wellness entrepreneur. The winner will secure a distribution deal with Medplus, providing nationwide retail access. The entrepreneur will also receive a free display stand at GlowFest, gaining exposure to thousands of participants and increasing visibility within the sector.
The initiative highlights Medplus’ recognition that growth in beauty and wellness is linked not only to products but also to people and innovation. By offering a distribution deal, the company aims to strengthen opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises and contribute to the expansion of Nigeria’s beauty ecosystem.
GlowFest 2025 will feature a range of sessions, including a panel on “The New Age of Beauty and the Rise of the Technological Gaze”, with speakers such as Dr Beatrice Ige, Dr Cynthia Ebie, Subouola Oyeleye, and Tania Omotayo. Other highlights include the SOHCAHTOA Business Advisory Session on financial habits for entrepreneurs and the Maybelline Masterclass on clean glam, skin-first routines, and everyday makeup.
The event will also host wellness checks, networking spaces, and product experience zones, combining business engagement with community building.
Medplus, which has operated in Nigeria for over 30 years, distributes and retails medicines, beauty, lifestyle, and fitness products. Through GlowFest, the company continues to create platforms that connect wellness with enterprise.
