The future of the facilities management industry will be the focus of discussion when stakeholders gather for an annual conference to be hosted by the Association of Facilities Management Practitioners of Nigeria (AFMPN).
The conference, which, according to the organisers, is a call to action for industry stakeholders, has its theme as ‘Facilities: Harnessing Technologies for Smart Cities and Workplaces.’
“It is a clarion call to all stakeholders in the industry to come together and chart a course for growth and development,” Olumide Aina, the AFMPN President, explained, adding that the association is set to host a landmark conference that promises to shape the future of facilities management in Nigeria.

The conference boasts an impressive lineup of keynote speakers, including Tunde Ayeye, a renowned expert in facilities management; Danjuma Waniko, President of the Green Building Council of Nigeria (GBCN); and the President of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Kene Nzekwe.
“These thought leaders will share their insights and expertise on the latest trends and best practices in facilities management, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to learn from the best in the industry,” Aina assured.
According to him, the conference is designed to be an interactive platform where facility managers, industry stakeholders, and policymakers can engage, discuss, and network.
