In the past 12 years of its existence, AutusBridge Consulting Limited has contributed to the growth and profitability of numerous businesses in Nigeria by providing sales consulting, training and IT-enabled solutions across sectors, Olugbenga Johnson, chief executive officer of AutusBridge Consulting Limited, has said.
Speaking in Lagos during a media chat with journalists organised by the organisation to celebrate its 12th anniversary, Johnson said AutusBridge, since its establishment in 2013, has, among other profound contributions, been able to build capacity for the sales teams of organisations to drive productivity and profitability.
According to him, in the last 12 years, one of the major problems that the company has tried to solve is to make small businesses recognise the fact that they can also adopt technology to scale up their operations.
Johnson further said that throughout its history, AutusBridge, as a sales-focused organisation, has, through its strategic platform and training programmes, provided solutions to companies that need their capability deficiencies corrected.
He said that with technology, it is very easy for organisations to scale and drive compliance processes that help to ensure that the business is safe.
Commenting on the overall economic reforms in Nigeria and their effect on small and medium-scale enterprises, the chief executive officer of AutusBridge said that the current reforms have been perceived to be some pain in the skin for a lot of businesses, but the recent stability in forex would help businesses plan and make their projections.
“The reform in the tax system, even though it has not come into play, is what a lot of small businesses are looking forward to taking advantage of to help them with more resources to be able to grow their business and generally grow the economy,” Johnson said.
The chief executive officer further said that in the last 12 years, the company has faced macroeconomics, an unregulated business environment, and infrastructure challenges, adding that despite these challenges, the company have been able to acquire some significant clients.
He said that the name Autus depicts growth and problem-solving, describing the one decade and two of the organisation’s existence as an opportunity to support organisations that are passionate about scaling their profitability to solve sales problems and groom value-driven team players to take actionable steps.
Commenting further, Johnson said that AutusBridge Consulting will continue to be at the forefront of solving sales problems for organisations across sectors
“If any organisation have any sales problem, wants to build capacity of their team, or a technology-driven sales process, AutusBridge is available to answer those questions,” he said.
On the strategies the company has adopted to stay competitive over the last 12 years, Johnson said the company has brought in a lot of improvements to its products, which are also attractive.
According to him, the improvements in our sales solution have put the company in a better position to negotiate with businesses across Nigeria and clients from West African countries.
