President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday led members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) to honour late Audu Ogbeh, former Minister of Agriculture who died recently.
The Council is expected to review the implementation of the 2024/ 2025 budget, ahead of preparations for the 2026 budget. Both the 2024 and 2025 budget are being implemented concurrently.
President Tinubu also inaugurated Dakas C. Dakas as Chairman and Uchenna Eugene as Commissioner, of the Nigerian Law Reform commission.

The FEC Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, Esther Walson- Jack Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President and Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser.
George Akume , Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, had announced to council members, the demise of Chief Audu Ogbeh.
Ogbeh who died last week was at one time the National Chairman of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and a minister of Agriculture during the administration of late President Muhammadu Buhari.
Council thereafter observed a minute silence for the soul of the departed elder statesman who Akume described as a patriot.
