The Management of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, operators of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2) has said no unruly behavior would be accepted at the airport terminal going forward.
“Passengers who engage in disruptive or violent behavior at MMA2 will face immediate intervention by trained security personnel, detention and formal investigation procedures, full prosecution under applicable Nigerian aviation laws, potential placement on airline and airport restriction lists, and civil responsibility for losses and disruptions incurred,” Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, Head, Corporate Communications Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited said in a statement.
This is coming after a serious incident of passenger misconduct occurred involving one Comfort Emmanson, who arrived on Ibom Air flight QI 513 from Uyo on Sunday.

The passenger was said to have exhibited multiple acts of aggression and non-compliance that endangered the safety of airline crew members and airport security personnel.
The incident began when the passenger refused to comply with standard safety protocols regarding mobile phone usage during landing procedures.
Subsequently, Emmanson physically assaulted multiple personnel.
“The Management wishes to make absolutely clear that such behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances within our terminal facilities,” Yinka-Olawuyi said.
She noted that the terminal operates under a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding physical assault or threats against airline crew members, violence or aggression toward airport security personnel, non-compliance with aviation safety regulations and crew instructions and disruptive behavior that compromises the safety and security of passengers and staff.
