The Presidency on Monday, said there is no truth in reports that President Bola Tinubu is sick.
Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Print Media stated this while speaking on the BBC Hausa service on Monday.

He disclosed that the President ” has been working from his office” contrary to claims otherwise.
Media reports had claimed that President Tinubu was last seen in public on August 1 at the opening of the Summit on Journalism for National Development.
Before then, the President had attended a reception for the Super Falcons following their triumph at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
But the Presidential Spokesman denied speculations that the President is sick and may be flown abroad for medical treatment.
Recall that the Nigerian Institute for Investigative Journalism had earlier claimed that the President was indisposed, citing some unnamed sources adding that ” the presidential medical team was preparing to evacuate the President for treatment.”
Th report also claimed Tinubu’s ill heath had been responsible for inefficiency in governance.

The report has indicated that the Ill health led to the cancellation of several functions scheduled for early last week week.
But Abdulaziz, while reacting to the reports on th BBC interview, noted that ” the President has been working in his office”.
