Electricity consumers in Kaduna and surrounding communities are expected to experience power outages as the distribution company embarks on a scheduled maintenance operation on Friday.
Andulazeez Abdullahi, Head, Corporate Communication, Kaduna DisCo, in a release, said this outage is necessary to allow for rehabilitation and standardisation works on the feeder, aimed at improving its reliability and overall service delivery.
“Please be informed that there will be an outage on the 33kV UNTL Feeder today, 1st August 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm,” the release stated.
Kaduna DisCo is responsible for distributing electricity to Kaduna, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara in the North-Western region of Nigeria.
Supply shall be restored immediately upon completion of the work. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding,” the release read.
