Ten-time champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, have arrived in Abuja following their triumphant outing at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The players and officials touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Monday afternoon aboard a chartered flight.

Nigeria secured a record-extending 10th WAFCON title on Saturday night after a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over hosts Morocco at the Stade Olympique in Rabat.
To celebrate the historic feat, the team will embark on a trophy parade through key districts of the Federal Capital Territory, including Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama, and Wuse Market.
Later today, the victorious Super Falcons squad will be hosted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
