Obianuju Violet Abdulkadir is the Founder/CEO, Time-Tell Nig. Ltd. She has spent the last 15 years turning challenges into opportunities, building businesses that solve real problems while empowering people and fostering innovation. It all started in 2007 with a common frustration Nigerians faced: Losing phone data to theft. During a trip abroad, she discovered a SIM card backup tool and thought, “Why can’t we have this here?”
That moment sparked the creation of Time-Tell Nigeria Limited and the launch of the Flip 8 Sim Backup, which gained national recognition when MTN adopted it for their marketing campaigns.
As they grew, they noticed other challenges their clients faced, like reaching customers in remote areas. This drove them to expand into merchandising and retail solutions, creating mobile and stationary sales points to bridge the gap.
They offer a wide range of the most innovative and cost-effective corporate gifts, merchandising and retail solutions, including textiles and promotional wear.
Time-Tell Nig. Ltd are the sole representative for the Fruit of the Loom brand of textiles in Nigeria, which enables them to adequately and timely meet your needs for polos and T-shirts for promotional wear. Driven by a passion for quality and commitment, they have become the standard for outstanding customer service and exceptional delivery.
Their determination to surpass their clients’ expectations in their areas of core competencies is unparalleled, and their impact on brand performance is real and measurable. At the heart of everything they do is a commitment to innovation and problem-solving.
In 2017, Obianuju’s passion for African heritage and sustainability inspired her to create Afrikoncept, an Afrocentric fashion brand that blends authentic African fabrics with ethical practices like upcycling textile waste. Afrikoncept is more than just fashion; it’s a movement.
Through their training programmes, they have empowered over 400+ women and youths, teaching them skills to earn a living and contribute to a sustainable future. Their milestones include: Becoming the official distributor for Fruit of the Loom in Nigeria, supplying premium promotional wear, winning the GO Global Awards 2023 in fashion, launching solar-powered production, cutting their carbon footprint and staying sustainable.
Beyond business, Obianuju chairs the Violet Abdulkadir Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering girls and women through education, training, and community development. Through partnerships with governments and agencies, they are fostering real societal impact.
Looking ahead, their plan is to expand Afrikoncept into a global brand, with plans to grow across Africa, the UK, and Europe.
