Three members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), adding to the growing list of defections from opposition parties in the Lower Chamber.
Members who defected are; Ajilesoro Abimbola representing Ife Central/Ife North/Ife South/Ife East, Osun state;
Omirin Olusanya, memeber representing Atakunmosa East,West/Ilesha East,West constituency; and Onobun Iziegbeaya. representing Esan Central/ Esan West/Igueben constituency , Edo State.

The notices of their defections were contained in speaker letters read by Abbas Tajudeen, Speaker of the House of Representatives during plenary on Wednesday.
All Defectors cited irreconcilable and deeply entrenched crisis in the PDP as reason for their exit.
The PDP has several of members in the last few months to the APC. Early this month, six members representing Akwa Ibom State in the House defected to the APC citing a deepening and unresolved leadership crisis within the party.
