As the demand for legitimate income streams grows among Nigeria’s youth, Nwosu Victor, widely known as Victor Nathel, is focusing on digital education as a means of empowerment. Through G.R.O.W.N Academy (Get Rich Online With Nathel), he is helping young people gain skills that enable them to participate in the digital economy.
Victor, originally from Imo State and raised in Delta State, completed his primary and secondary education in Delta before earning a degree in Political Science Education at the University of Benin. His venture into the digital sector began in 2022 when he started offering informal training in digital marketing. The success of these sessions, mostly driven by referrals, led to the formal establishment of G.R.O.W.N Academy in 2023.
Operating from Lagos, the academy’s mandate is to train young people in online skills that can generate income while keeping them away from illegal and unsustainable practices. Since inception, it has registered over 3,500 students across 14 countries, underscoring the growing demand for structured training in the digital economy.
The academy’s programmes are built to provide step-by-step training in market-relevant skills. Beyond skill acquisition, participants are introduced to principles of financial independence and personal discipline, helping them navigate the online space with structure and purpose.
In addition to its educational services, G.R.O.W.N Academy contributes to wider community needs through outreach programmes. These initiatives offer support to underprivileged groups, extending the academy’s impact beyond its core training objectives.
A key feature of the academy is its annual Get-Together event, where students meet with Victor Nathel, attend physical training sessions, and network with peers. This event bridges the gap between online learning and in-person mentorship, strengthening the academy’s learning community.
Victor Nathel’s work has drawn interest from broader audiences, with appearances on radio programmes, industry seminars, and webinars, where he discusses topics such as internet business models, personal branding, and sustainable online income strategies.
Speaking on the academy’s direction, Victor stated that G.R.O.W.N Academy exists “to educate and empower young people with digital skills” and to “create pathways for legitimate online income”.
As digital economies expand across Africa, G.R.O.W.N Academy is positioning itself as a platform for youth seeking structured entry into online entrepreneurship and remote income opportunities.
