Fembol Group has concluded the Fembol Student Grant Pitch Day, a flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative designed to support young entrepreneurs through funding, mentorship, and business exposure.
The Student Grant programme attracted over 500 applications from students across multiple tertiary institutions. Following an initial screening, shortlisted applicants participated in an intensive one-day entrepreneurship bootcamp, where they received practical training to refine their ideas, business models, and pitching skills.

At the end of the process, 10 student entrepreneurs emerged as finalists and received ₦200,000 (each to further develop their ideas ahead of the grand finale pitch session. The finalists presented solutions spanning wellness, energy, and sustainability, and were evaluated by a panel of industry professionals based on innovation, feasibility, scalability, and execution.

Following deliberations, three winners emerged and were awarded grants totaling over 3 million, distributed as follows:
● Winner – approximately ₦1.5million
Pemnia Wellness — Opeyemi Adebisi
Pemnia Wellness focuses on promoting holistic health and wellness through accessible and sustainable solutions.
● 1st Runner-Up – approximately ₦1million
Versatile Energy — Nura Idris
Versatile Energy provides innovative energy solutions aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability.
● 2nd Runner-Up – approximately ₦500,000
Save Extra Ecopads — Joy Mamkwe
Save Extra Ecopads addresses menstrual health challenges through eco-friendly and affordable sanitary products.

Speaking at the event, a representative of Fembol Group reaffirmed the company’s commitment to youth entrepreneurship and innovation.
“At Fembol, we believe that empowering young people with viable ideas is critical to building sustainable businesses and a resilient economy. The Student Grant is our way of supporting the next generation of founders,” the representative said.
Beyond funding, participants benefited from mentorship, feedback from judges, and networking opportunities, positioning them for long-term growth and scalability.
