The semi-final fixtures for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco have been confirmed following the conclusion of the quarter-final matches on Saturday.
Host nation Morocco, alongside Nigeria, Egypt and Senegal, booked their places in the last four after a fiercely contested round of quarter-final fixtures.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured qualification on Saturday with a convincing 2–0 victory over Algeria in Marrakech.

Egypt followed with a dramatic 3–2 win over defending champions Ivory Coast on Saturday night, ending the Elephants’ title defence in a pulsating encounter.
Hosts Morocco also progressed to the semi-finals after a commanding 2–0 victory over Cameroon.
Senegal completed the semi-final line-up after edging Mali 1–0 in a tense West African derby on Friday.
Egypt, seven-time AFCON champions, will now face Senegal in a mouth-watering semi-final, while the Super Eagles of Nigeria battle Morocco.

The semi-finals of AFCON 2025 will be played on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, with the tournament building towards the final on January 18 in Rabat.
