England international Bukayo Saka has agreed to a new five-year contract with Arsenal, committing his future to the club and remaining at the Emirates Stadium until 2031.
Saka, whose previous deal was due to expire in June 2027, is finalising a new and improved agreement that will keep him at the club for another five years. The contract is understood to make the 24-year-old one of Arsenal’s highest-paid players.

The deal represents the latest step in Arsenal’s strategy of securing their key talents on long-term contracts as they seek to keep their title-chasing squad together.
An academy graduate, Saka has developed into a central figure for his boyhood club under manager Mikel Arteta. Since Arteta’s appointment in 2019, the winger has played more minutes than any other Arsenal player.

In total, Saka has made 290 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 77 goals, including seven goals in 27 games across all competitions this season.
He has played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s recent title challenges, particularly during the 2023/24 campaign, when he registered 20 goals and 14 assists in all competitions as the North London side finished just two points behind Manchester City in the Premier League.
Saka has continued his strong form this season, contributing seven goals and six assists in 27 appearances so far.
Arsenal are well placed to end their wait for silverware this term, currently sitting six points clear at the top of the Premier League and boasting a 100 per cent win record from their six Champions League matches to date.
