Princess Medical Centre was founded by Emi Membere-Otaji, a medical doctor turned astute businessman, and brings a 60-bed multi-specialist setup featuring 3–4 operating theatres, ICU and dialysis unit, fully automated laboratory, and specialized services in cardiology, renal care, physiotherapy, pain management, obstetrics & gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, general surgery, Audiometry Suite and assisted reproduction.

It was very emotional for me as my 38 year old hospital was being acquired. This is my exit strategy for this business. With merger Princess Medical Centre will keep its name, all staff will have their jobs in continuum while I will remain as a director of the R-Jolad Hospital group and shareholder of the parent AfyaCare” he said.”
