An Ogun State’s Magistrate Court has arraigned and remanded in prison, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, the Anthony Joshua’s driver, over reckless driving that terminated the lives of two Joshua’s training staff, namely, Sina Ghami and Kevin Latif Ayodele, on Lagos-Ibadan expressway, recently.
BusinessDay reports that Ogun State Police Command, on Friday, announced that the driver involved in the Lexus SUV accident linked to British-Nigerian boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, was arraigned in court.
According to the Police, the driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, aged 46, was on Friday, January 2, 2026, charged before a Sagamu Magistrate Court in connection with the accident.
Oluseyi Babaseyi, Deputy Superintendent of Ploice and Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, disclosed this in an update made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

Babaseyi stated that the matter was mentioned in court, after which it was adjourned till January 20, 2026, for further proceedings.
He assured members of the public that the Ogun State Police Command remains committed to due process and the rule of law, adding that the Command would continue to keep the public informed as the case progresses.
