As Nigerians approach a new year marked by expectations of improved living and wider access to technology, Ezekiel Nwaeke, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HelpMe AI Solutions Nigeria, has carried out a community outreach aimed at supporting people in need during the festive period.
The outreach, which took place across Lagos and nearby areas, involved the distribution of food items, educational materials, household supplies and financial support. Beneficiaries included orphanages, low-income households and community centres. The initiative was led personally by Nwaeke and supported by volunteers who worked directly with local groups to identify families and individuals requiring assistance.
The outreach aligns with the mission of HelpMe AI Solutions Nigeria, a company developing artificial intelligence tools designed for daily use. The company is preparing for the launch of products in 2026, including HelpMe AI, a digital assistant for payments, bill management and business support, as well as HelpMe AI Home Automation, which focuses on remote home management and security.
Speaking during the outreach, Nwaeke said, “This outreach is about spreading love and reminding Nigerians that we are in this together. As we build technology to simplify daily life from sending money instantly to securing homes remotely; we must also directly support our communities. Giving back isn’t just charity; it’s investing in the people who will drive our smarter future.”
He explained that the decision to give back during the festive season was based on the belief that technology should serve people beyond screens and systems. “No matter how advanced our AI becomes, it means nothing if it doesn’t uplift real lives,” he said. “Seeing smiles on faces during this season reinforces why we do what we do. We’re not just preparing Nigerians for smart living in 2026; we’re helping them thrive today.”
Participants and beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the assistance helped reduce financial pressure during the holidays, a period often marked by higher living costs.
Nwaeke also indicated that community outreach would continue as the company grows. “This is just the beginning,” he stated. “As HelpMe AI grows, so will our commitment to supporting Nigerians where it matters most – in their homes, businesses, and hearts.”
The outreach highlights how leaders in the technology sector can connect innovation with social responsibility, offering practical support while building tools for future use.
