Yourrider Energies says it is strengthening its role in Africa’s clean mobility sector through new battery swap and charging infrastructure across Nigeria. As electric mobility expands from two-wheelers to four-wheelers, the company states that stable energy access is a central requirement for growth.
In a new strategic move, the company is working with Oxlade to promote wider acceptance of clean mobility. The partnership aims to link technology with cultural influence while supporting the shift to alternative energy systems.
The company reports that its operations grew by up to 10X in the past year. It notes that Pelumi Akinlade led efforts to extend activities into other African countries and engaged with global investors to build regional presence.
NNPC and other sector players are part of the company’s network of partners. These collaborations are designed to support a stable structure for energy supply and mobility services. Inside the organisation, Victor Akor, Mercy Amos and Peter Danjuma continue to manage scale-up processes for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. David oversees the expansion of two-wheeler operations in Abuja.
The company states that its work is creating jobs and lowering emissions across communities. By the end of 2026, Yourrider Energies infrastructure is projected to operate 160 charging and swap stations across the country. The organisation estimates that this network will cut about 55,000 tons of carbon emissions each year.
Energy supply is a central part of economic development, and the company says its goal is to provide clean, safe and dependable systems that support national productivity. As the organisation extends its infrastructure across Africa, it plans to support a low-carbon pathway while enabling mobility services for users, businesses and public institutions.
