President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri as part of a one-day state visit to Borno State.
BusinessDay reports that the presidential jet landed on Saturday at the Nigerian Air Force wing of the Maiduguri International Airport at about 12:58 p.m.

The President was received by Governor Babagana Zulum, his deputy, Usman Kadafur, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, members of the National Assembly, members of the State House of Assembly, and other top government officials.
It was gathered that Tinubu would proceed directly to Ramat Square, where he is expected to inaugurate a fleet of vehicles for onward distribution.
He is also expected to commission the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secondary School located along the Shehu Palace road, as well as other projects.
