The Sustainable Impact and Development (SID) Initiative, alongside its Gender Equality Champions, paid an advocacy visit to the Lagos State Tuberculosis (TB) Network on the 15th December, 2025.
The advocacy visit was conducted under the Gender Equality Fund (GEF) Project and aimed to strengthen stakeholder engagement, appreciate the Network’s support, and advance collaboration on the development of a communications toolkit.
During the visit, Ajibola Ayomide Victoria, SID Initiative’s Communications Assistant, provided updates on the development of the Communications Toolkit.
She appreciated the Network’s participation in the Communications Toolkit Planning Meeting and informed Ifenluwa Aipoh, that the jointly developed outline would be finalized and shared before the end of the week.
She also communicated SID Initiative’s request for the Network to contribute a foreword to the toolkit, as part of efforts to promote shared ownership and institutional endorsement of the resource across relevant stakeholders in Lagos State.
The Gender Equality Champions also shared updates on key activities implemented under the Gender Equality Fund project, highlighting their advocacy engagements and ongoing efforts to advance gender equality outcomes through youth-led initiatives.
The Lagos State TB Network team, led by Ifelunwa Aipoh, warmly received the team and expressed appreciation for SID Initiative’s work. The Network reaffirmed its commitment to remain actively engaged and supportive of ongoing and future project activities.
SID Initiative remains committed to strengthening partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the development of inclusive, youth-responsive communication tools that address critical health and gender equality issues.
