President Bola Tinubu has forwarded three non-career ambassadorial nominees to the Senate.
The ambassadors -designate are: Kayode Aare, representing Ogun state; Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa state and Ayodele Oke from Oyo state.

The letter was read during plenary by Godswill Akpabio, the senate president.
The senate president has therefore directed the Senate Committee on Foreign affairs to review the nominations and report back to the chamber within one week.
