Regus, a global provider of flexible workspace solutions has partnered with Deesh Multi Concepts Empire Ltd to empower businesses in Nigeria’s capital city with innovative workspaces to cut cost of business, boost roductivity, while also providing access to global business opportunities.
The facility, which opened on Thursday in Garki Abuja is the latest addition to Regus’ growing footprint in Nigeria’s capital. It also offers networking opportunities that connect local companies with Regus’s network across more than 100 countries.
Speaking at the launch, Regus Country Director, Ayo Akinmade, described the new centre as a hub of opportunity for Abuja’s business community. He said the Garki location was built to support productivity, collaboration, and growth, while ensuring affordability for all businesses including start-ups.
According to him, one of the most attractive aspects of Regus’ model is its flexibility which enables businesses save cost and channel resources towards productivity.
“You don’t have to spend a lot of money up front on an office. You can subscribe for any period you want and only pay for one month at a time. That helps you keep money in your pocket and focus your resources on growing your business”, Akinmade explained.
“When you sign up here, you become a member of a club. So, you can work from any of our locations — whether in Lagos, Port Harcourt, London, Tokyo or Paris. The benefits go beyond your immediate office; you gain global exposure and networking opportunities”, he added.
He noted that each centre regularly hosts networking events to help members connect, collaborate and explore new business prospects. “Every three months, we hold a networking event at one of our centres. Each centre also keeps a directory of the businesses there. We also help promote members’ businesses across our network,” he added.
He informed that the workspace is a blend of private offices, co-working areas, event halls, and meeting rooms, giving business owners and professionals access to modern workspaces without the financial burden of long-term office leases.
“Everything you need to be productive already works, you just come in, plug in your computer and start working”, he said.
Abbas Idris, representing one of Regus’ local partners, Deesh Multi Concepts Empire Ltd, said the partnership was forged to create opportunities for small businesses and professionals who cannot afford traditional office spaces in Abuja.
“We joined this partnership to make it easier for people to access quality office facilities without owning an office outright. Regus has a clean global record and provides reliable, affordable services, that’s what makes this partnership valuable”, Idris said.
Chioma Nwaoha, the community associate at the Garki centre, highlighted the range of services available to users including private offices, shared desks, meeting rooms, virtual offices, and co-working memberships tailored to different needs and budgets.
“Our goal is to provide a comfortable, functional environment that supports productivity,” Nwaoha said.
