Kora, a leading African payment infrastructure company, will host the 2025 edition of its flagship event, Sundown Sessions, themed “AI in Africa: Scaling Beyond the Hype.” The summit, scheduled for 8 November 2025, will explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming Africa’s business and creative sectors through practical applications and innovation.

This year’s gathering will feature two panel sessions and a fireside chat focused on how AI is influencing the continent’s economic and creative future. The first panel, “How AI Will Reshape Business Models in Africa,” will discuss the shifts in business operations, the challenges facing organisations, and how firms can adapt to remain competitive.
The second session, “African AI Startups: What Use Cases Are Investors Betting On?” will examine the sectors attracting investment, what investors are seeking, and the types of AI-driven solutions that are most likely to receive funding. The fireside chat, “The Next Frontier for Creativity: AI and the Creator Economy,” will focus on how AI is shaping creative work, redefining content creation, and creating new opportunities for income and innovation.
