DEVIL IS A LIAR (2025)
From the title, one would almost predict that this movie would be around deceit and lies, well, it wasn’t far from that at all, besides the fact that I just couldn’t believe the extent one would go to deceive someone else, just to get their heart’s desires. Jaiye was a very young handsome guy, he met Adaora at her sisters introduction and fell in love with her, or so we assumed, in less than 6 months Jaiye and Adaora were married, they had a daughter. Still, they kept having issues all through the marriage, nothing Adaora did was ever good enough for him, but that wasn’t even the issue until Adaora ran into Jaiye with her car after she found him cheating. Well, you will need to go checkout the movie to discover how Adaora went to jail for her anger and how she lost every single thing that she owned and worked for. GIGI & NATE (2022)
I had saved this movie on my watch list for ages now, I finally decided to watch it, as there were no action movies to watch anymore. Nate was a very young vibrant teenager who was full of life, he had all his life goals clearly written out, until one day during a house party, Nate had a seizure and that singular event turned his entire life around. Nate almost died but for the love of his sister and family, Nate was able to fight and come back to life. After spending month in the hospital Nate was sent home but he couldn’t move any part of his body except his head, he had to learn to read, write and move his arms, but doing things alone were difficult which led to his parents acquiring a Service monkey called Gigi. Nate and Gigi become good friends and almost inseparable till one wicked lady in the grocery store decided to sue Nate and his monkey, this singular act led to the agent taking Gigi back, this affected Nate negatively, do check out the movie to see how Nate survived the lawsuit. Lynetle was a young lady who had been through a lot in life to just keep things going, In this brand-new movie Lynetle has just one night to raise $25,000 to save her mum and brother from being forcefully evicted from their childhood home, Lynetle was desperate and anxious and at this point was willing to do anything to raise that money and save their home. The most shocking aspect of this movie for me was the sad response and feedback from her mum after all she had done. Lynetle couldn’t believe that after all she had gone through in life her mom was pleased or delighted by her actions, Lynetle had to learn the hard way; she had to make some difficult decisions in her life.
