This comes amid growing public confidence in MMA2’s operational efficiency and the robustness of its security systems.
Again, the terminal operators announced the reinforcement of their zero-tolerance policy against all forms of theft and illicit activities within the terminal premises. Speaking on the terminal’s growing record of successful recoveries, the Head of Aviation Security (AVSEC) at MMA2 noted that the team has received an increasing number of requests for CCTV footage in recent weeks.
“Lately, we’ve had quite a number of passengers request CCTV playback to trace misplaced or forgotten items, and I’m pleased to report that all items have been successfully tracked and found,” she said.
“We have a robust surveillance system, a dedicated security team, and a close working relationship with law enforcement agencies. This renewed zero-tolerance approach means that any individual caught engaging in theft or related criminal activities will face immediate and severe consequences, including full prosecution to the extent of the law.
