Justina Oha is the founder of Digital Equity Africa, a digital inclusion solutions company, focused on the global south. The company provides digital solutions for governments, international organisations, and Africa’s tech ecosystem. The company is equally committed to educating people about Artificial Intelligence, how it works, and its growing impact on everyday life.
She is the convener of Kids Tech Fest: A Global AI Summit for Children, the first of its kind, which drew over 5,000 participants for the Lagos edition at Landmark Event Centre, Lagos. It is a conference series, this means that Kids Tech Fest: A Global AI Summit is storming other states in Nigeria. She also founded Future Minds AI Learning Community, a platform dedicated to teaching children about AI and its role in the modern world. As a result, Digital Equity Africa recently organised an online AI literacy program for adults and is hosting an in-person AI summer camp for children in August, 2025.
With 17 years of experience across ecosystem building, innovation, digitisation, connectivity, finance, investment readiness, sales, partnerships, and development assistance, Justina is a seasoned tech leader with deep roots in Africa’s digital transformation space.
She previously served as Country Director of the UK-Nigeria Tech Hub under the British High Commission, where she brokered a partnership with Google for Startups Africa to provide $3million in cloud credits for women in tech, and led investment readiness programmes supporting financial inclusion for female founders.
Justina has held senior leadership roles at Tizeti (wifi.com.ng), where she served as VP of Sales & Marketing, and led Africa-wide expansion efforts. She also served as VP of Marketing and later VP of Partnerships at Decagon, a global digital talent development institute.
She brings a unique perspective to Africa’s tech landscape, particularly in ecosystem building, digital inclusion, and transformation. Her work has supported SMEs in creating global digital demand, improved customer experience through digitised complaint resolution, and enabled digital training for rural farmers using feature phones and USSD codes.
A Techstars Global Mentor, she guides startups globally, especially in the areas of impact investing and inclusion.
Justina holds a B.Sc. in Mass Communication and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Northampton, UK. She is a respected speaker who has represented Africa on major global stages. Beyond her career, Justina is a passionate mentor and youth advocate, committed to empowering young people and shaping the future of tech through education and inclusion.
