Once again, the amazing people of Ogun State gave the world something to talk about with their colourful and exciting Ojude Oba Festival. It is no surprise that this celebration has become one of the most admired cultural events in Africa.

This year’s festival brought people together from all walks of life, demonstrating the power of culture in uniting us. The event even had a national touch, with the Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, joining in the celebration.

The fashion was next level. Aso Oke took centre stage as thousands of attendees wore beautifully made outfits in coordinated colours, all crafted from the beloved local fabric. The festival wasn’t just about fun and culture; it was also a big win for local businesses.

Makeup artists and headtie stylists had their hands full, with hundreds of women stepping out looking absolutely stunning. From the colours to the gele styles, the beauty on display was truly a sight to behold.

And of course, the sunglasses made their yearly statement. For the third year running, a certain group of stylish ladies brought the heat with their bold and unique shades. From round lenses to cat-eye frames, they came to slay, and they did just that.
