In a bid to support the re-election bid of Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru, Governor of Ebonyi State, the Innocent Unah Solidarity Movement (IUSM) has disclosed plans to stage a 10,000-man march.
According to a statement by the group, this follows a strategic meeting that was held on 30th May 2025.
The movement stated that the 10,000-man march was to demonstrate the group’s support for the governor’s visionary leadership and second-term ambition.
The movement pointed out it is committed to mobilizing widespread grassroots support to ensure the successful re-election of Governor Nwifuru, for a second tenure.
“We pledge our collective backing for all our beloved and distinguished political leaders
“We call upon all stakeholders, particularly in Oshiri and Onicha local government area, to join hands with us in these noble endeavours”, the statement read in part.
The statement further stated that the group celebrate Anthony Ani, senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial zone, for his exceptional contributions to the development of our state and Nigeria, while extending support to Nkem Kama Nkem, member representing Ohanivo Federal Constituency for his steadfast commitment to public service.
“We commend Ifeanyi Celestine Ogba, Member representing Onicha East in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, for his dedication and impactful representation.
“We, extend our heartfelt congratulation Zion Agu Nwopu the coordinator Oshiri Development Center for your tireless efforts in maintaining peace in Oshiri are truly commendable”
