The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has collaborated with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Nigeria Red Cross Society in a bid to ensure accident-free movement during the festive period.
Dahiru Yusuf, head of NEMA, Benin operation office, disclosed this at the flag-off awareness campaign along Benin-Lagos road on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event with the theme, “towards emergency free yuletide season for 2020”, Yusuf said the public enlightenment campaign was geared towards better motoring in the coming weeks.
He said the partnership with the relevant agencies would go a long way to reduce road accidents as well as decrease the number of automobile fatalities during and after the yuletide.
