Nigerian MC, comedian and philanthropist, Oluwagbenga Oluwafemi Dawodu, otherwise known as Kristen Dawodu has disclosed plans to establish other entertainment platforms like Wahala Network, which would serve as a blogging platform for his brand.
Kristen Dawodu also gave insight into his life as an entertainer in America and one of the revelations coming from him is that entertainment in Nigeria is much cheaper.
“Producing entertainment content in the United State is a bit expensive for an artiste. For example, shooting a quality video in America can cost you $15,000 upward. But in Nigeria, it’s much cheaper or let me say affordable, to shoot the same quality video.”
Dawodu who migrated to America in 2016, gave further hints about his life in America.

“Traveling (vacations) and meeting new people is my best experience because here in America, all people do is work and pay taxes. Americans don’t sleep. I remember when I use to work two jobs, one overnight and one early in the morning, it wasn’t easy. But now I’m focused on entertainment.”
For young Nigerians working towards migrating to the United States in a quest for greener pasture or the Golden Fleece, Dawodu offered these words of advice:
“Don’t rush the process, take your time make sure you have all the necessary documents and lots of money to move. America is a good country, it’s a land of opportunities. In America, your dreams can easily be accomplished.”
He further advised them not to be discouraged by stories of racisms they hear or read about. “There will always be some racists anywhere in the world, but in America, it doesn’t really matter whether you are White, African or Asian, what matters is that you are American and the colour of your skin will not stop you from attaining success.”
