A two-storey building has partially collapsed in the Gbagada area of Lagos this morning.
The landlord of the affected building was said to have noticed the defective nature of the house, and had given all tenants a quit notice which was yet to be fully complied with, before the building partially caved in.
BusinessDay gathered at the time of filing in this report, injured persons were being evacuated from the house while the locals were also helping those trapped upstairs to get down with the use of a ladder.
