Popular social media comedian, Lazarus Emmanuel Chibugo, popularly known as Xploit Comedy has revealed that popular American actor/comedian, Eddie Murphy has always been his role model.
Leaning on Lana Del Rey’s cliché quote, “pick your role models wisely”, Lazarus Emmanuel Chibugo has come to find his footing in the comedy world thanks to the inspiration he draws from the successful comedian he chose as a role model.
“Eddie Murphy has always inspired me and the success he has been able to achieve has been a driving force for me. I also draw inspiration from American filmmaker and illusionist, Zach King.”
He also revealed that one quality that helped bring him to limelight despite the many challenges he has faced is doggedness.

“I think the only way I could achieve what I have achieved today is by not giving up because there were times I wanted to give up, and probably choose another career path.”
Continuing, he said: “Looking back, the idea of putting smiles on people’s faces was a drive that later became my passion. There were a lot of discouraging challenges, many of which seemed insurmountable. Diligence, consistency, and prayers saw me through, and now, I can’t do without acting comedy.”
